Well, today's weather had me bring the old boy out of the barn to get to work. I covered about 45 miles of snow covered interstate in pretty crappy shape. Headed out at 2 this afternoon, with the slide offs everywhere it took till 3:45 to cover the 45 mile. That is the longest, and fastest for...
I find, that as time goes by and you work on them that you don't have to clean them. All the grease and grime either transfers to my clothing or leaves piggybacked to old parts that are replaced LOL I de-greased alot of the undercarriage with my shirt and belly
They are out of a 2014 F150 Limited. The Ford color on them is called Marina Blue. It comes real close to matching the blue interior of my truck. I was going to try and repair my seats but they are so far gone and broken it easier to get these and clean them up. I am going to have to do a little...
Picked up so seats. They had a little wear on them but with some help from Seat Doctors they are cleaning up ok before and after cleaning and applying some dye to freshen them up. Then I had to bypass the memory module to get the power function to work on the driver side. There is more wiring in...
I have aftermarket lines also and use the DTI Tech and time. Worked the first use but not so steady any more. I think the problem i am having is I have the 6.35 mm transducer and need to order the 6mm after measuring #1. But I think I will try #4 before I order a new transducer.
Hopefully that works, I did not have it work out that way. I did all the ways you did but always ended up nicking a o-ring. One thing for sure you will find out pretty quickly if ya did or didn't.
I have had recent and similar symptoms, I popped my boost tube off on the highway. The truck immediately lost power(of course) lost most of the boost reading on the gauge, EGT shot up. not nearly as high as you were showing though, and started rolling a lot of black smoke until I got The boost...
Also, watch R&D video on installing the fuel rails. The injectors need to be installed into the rails before you install them into the heads. Install them by turning each injector a little at a time and at an even amount so that they all four go in at about the same pace. Maybe a half turn each...
I have the fuel rails from R&D and have it set up almost exactly as you have drawn. I have eliminated the return to the filter and the return to the IP is on the driver side front instead of passenger and use the center ports to connect the two rails with the rear driver side of the rail with a...
Check the big plug connection for the engine harness on the driver inner fender. Mine came loose when I was getting things back together and working under the hood alot, I had the same symptoms engine cranks but no GP, no wait to start light no fuel. Good news is if it is that all your problems...
WIRE IT UP AND FIRE IT UP!!!
I dont think this is what that means but it got me home after blowing the boost tube apart on the highway and lost a hose clamp
