    Spinning Hub Stud

Not sure if this is going to post correctly. Phones being weird. But, if the picture comes through, I have had some luck moving/removing things with this type set up. I already had the slide hammer and one of the attachments threaded right into a pair of visegrips I already had. You may be able...

What's this in the oil pan?

Is it magnetic? Is it maybe broken off of your drain plug?

So what did you do with your truck today?

I think there is an old saying that goes something like "Stupidity is the ugly step sister of Necessity but Necessity is the mother of invention" Pretty sure that's how it goes. So the stupidity in this story is not double checking the depth of the rear main seal before assembling everything...

So what did you do with your truck today?

It is but, unlike my usual impatient self, I actually took time to prep everything right and primered, color coat (Grabber Green) and cleared it.

So what did you do with your truck today?

LOL-I used a step bit and just matched the original holes from the factory one. Actually the factory ones looked like a five year old drilled them. I did clean and de-burr all the edges after I took that picture. Just didn't get one after that

So what did you do with your truck today?

I was a little leary of putting that much pressure on it since I really did know what it's limits were I ended up at 60 psi and it held that for an hour so hopefully all good. I soaped it up good and no bubbles so on the motor it goes

So what did you do with your truck today?

So I bought this oil cooler a little while ago that I told you all about. I was nervous about installing it on blind faith so I built this rig. It is 1/8 × 3 inch plate. (I would us 1/4 if I did it again). Then I used some fel-pro gasket material and traced some gasket to use on this tester...

    Aggressive unidentifiable shake.

I am pretty sure your problem is that Red T-Bird. I could hold on to that for ya to see if that help with the truck vibration. :)

Vacuum Dehydrator Design for Drying Waste Vegetable Oil

I have run this type operation where I work. Vacuum allows water to boil/evaporate at a lower temperature. Basically you can boil water at room temperature with enough vacuum. The check/float valve is to keep liquid out of the vacuum pump to protect the pump. My industry would incorporate a...

So what did you do with your truck today?

I agree. It has some challenges with being lifted to extremes. Can't count how many times the only advice you can get is rip it out an get a 60. This truck has it working hard everyday life behind it lol

So what did you do with your truck today?

Nice! I have a few myself and one Shoei that I no longer have but bounced off of and scraped down I-435 one beautiful July day about 20 years ago. That is still my favorite helmet. Saved my bacon. I didn't doubt your dedication to pulling one on.

So what did you do with your truck today?

Seriously though, my old runnin buddies and I got into PWCs when we had places down at lake of the ozarks. A couple of them had 2 stroke yamahas that would run in the 80's by gps. I had a sea-doo RXP 4 stroke that I had done a Riva stage 2 on and some other mods that I could get 75 mph on gps...

I started getting the heads on. I was surprised nobody saw my error on the cooling mod for the block. I got a little over zealous and pulled all 4 plugs on each side. Oops. Goes to show, finish reading the whole thread Anyway I order a set and replace the one removed and started installing and...

    Chronic repeated mouse/rat problem

Great question! You would think that the manufacturer would add a deterrent to make them not so tasty. What I did come away from that conversation with the insurance rep is, if you are keeping your vehicle in storage, keep your comprehensive coverage at least. It costs nearly nothing and covers...

    Chronic repeated mouse/rat problem

I did have a 2014 toyota car that I could not keep mice out of. Finally figured out they were getting in through the cabin air filter. They would chew a hole in it and fill the air box with acorns. Turn out, an insurance claim guy told me, that the insulation on the wiring in newer cars is made...
