    It is a caliper used from a 76 cadillac/GM models. It is a Ruff Stuff kit I cheaped out when I ordered it as E-Brake calipers were an option. Good kit though. The calipers are available at your favorite auto part suppliers though

    Started these awhile ago, but finally got both the rear axle hubs rebuilt, finished the new brake lines and have both the rear disc brake conversion completed. Before After I was hoping to get the system bled out today and change the dif oil so I could install this purty new cover oh well...

    Just some further info for you all. I bought new GP's from O'Autoparts store. They only sell the ZD-29. Supposedly the same. Here's some comparisons The QR code on the 29's is very clear. The fakes it is not and the there is a space in the middle of "MA DE" In Germany Kind of hard to see but...

    I think it might be as simple as some heat shrink on it. It has a pretty clean break that stabilizes when l held together. I will get a picture of it when I can get back out to the shop. might be tomorrow with the way this day is going

    Short story. When I was tightening up the transmission bolts the other day installing it, I broke the plastic sleeve on the shifter linkage between the bracket and shift lever. I think I can repair it but check the black hole of my wallet where you can click on "Buy it NOW!" and stuff magically...

    I managed to get the E4OD back in the truck. Top bolt and the middle one too. It was rebuilt early this year with a new torque converter as this project snowballed into more than I planned

    I think I have moved enough firewall to set it in but only one way to find out. Thank you, it's a young kid with lots of money and an entitlement problem. I think I have made him mad enough to put in a fence to keep himself on his own property

    I was supposed to have this set back in today. The best laid plans foiled by newish neighbor property line disputes and general bad luck getting upgraded to fiber. Such is life. Fingers crossed I don't have to "clearance" the firewall for the down pipe.

    Is this bad? I know I probably could have gone another 100,000 but since I was in there anyway went ahead ad swapped the front shackles. Pain in the ****.
