    Look into tank heaters such as a kats 13100, plumbs into the block and a heater hose. Besides warming the engine up it is effective for melting the snow off the hood of the my ford major.

    Having experienced higher boost numbers with stock head bolts and studs on a 6.9 and no ill effects on head gaskets, I am curious where these numbers come from and why they are constantly regurgitated like gospel?

    Remember filling up at the old town pump in Big Timber. The sticker on the pump listed summer #2, winter #2, #1#2 blend, #1, with gel points or some other info can't remember other then summer and winter #2.

    Not worried about the webasto drawing power, but as long as it is heating up the coolant it would be nice if the vehicles heater blower motor was running. Nice warm cab, no window frost, no rock hard seat.

    There is definitely less blowby with the gapless rings. One little advantage is it makes the banks upside down cdr manageable as oil does not collect in it. One disadvantage is I can no longer fog for mosquitoes by removing the oil fill cap.

    Idi a roller does not matter. I venture they are much larger then the problematic child small block chevy, really all others makes are much more forgiving to break in and continued zinc levels. Your valvetrane by comparison is a behemoth.

    Ford did not reject ck4 oils. They rejected 10w30 ck-4/sn oils. Sn oils being the gasoline standard and having a lower phosphorus content. Everyone saw the ck-4 and ignored the rest.
