Hot Shots secret stiction eliminator....
Been a few threads on hss here and other forums. I still prefer it over others. If it's easier for you to get, run it. If archoil makes you feel all warm and fuzzy, run that. Most important is quality oil and a good oci. Also, 7.3's don't typically see stiction. More of a 6.0 thing. Sent...- 79jasper

I reckon the days of checking a owners manual/manufacturer specifications are bygones. Hell, put milk in it for all I care. The 08 f250 came with MTL a 75W-90 synthetic. It's listed in the owners manual... Maybe someone here has a manual handy and can take a picture for you. Atf was specified because of the tighter tolerances. Now with wear and age, you can get by with a thicker fluid. Just a side note (it doesn't apply to this trans specifically) the newer...- 79jasper
