Fuel gauge slosh module has any one change one of these in a super duty

Iirc it's just the obs trucks. I think you could get the module out of a crown vic or town car. Just plugs into the back of the gauge. Adds a low fuel light as well. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Opinions please

This isn't exactly like a gas engine. You don't really need a crossover. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Wastegate not activating

As another tidbit, many guys with cranked up pumps actually disconnect the Wastegate and tie it closed for more boost. So long as it wasn't stuck open, you should be good to go. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Wastegate not activating

Just revving the engine wont really build boost. Engine needs to be under load. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Wastegate not activating

Goes to the AFC. Basically like the smoke puff eliminator. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I think that's what was in my 79 c30. Looks more like something out of a medium duty truck. Lol Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Wastegate not activating

Yes, it should be tee'd into boost somewhere. Usually on the intake manifold. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

6.0 vs 6.4 in an IH truck

The DT is pretty decent. We have two 530's kicking around. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    No heat in cab

Or could be low on coolant. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

6.0 vs 6.4 in an IH truck

6.4 may have more power up front, but the 6.0 isn't as finicky. 6.4 is Russian roulette, nothing you can do about. At least the 6.0 problems can be fixed. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

That's where progressive sucks. They did the same with my 94. USAA and geico had no problem. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Re-ring...nozzle issues??? Tired of project

Do you know how many times this engine has been rebuilt? How much was the block milled? What about the heads? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    A/C System

I remember one member not having good luck with it. But I don't know if he had another issue, or just swapped to another refrigerant. Maybe it was @chris142 ? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

question regarding multi weight motor oil

Has nothing to do with the engine itself. Do some reading on oil viscosity ratings. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Anyone had this problem?

Depends if they've been replaced. Someone could have put sealed units. I'm guilty of the impact on dumptruck wheels. Give them a healthy dose of ugga-duggas with the one inch impact..... Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Re-ring...nozzle issues??? Tired of project

Imo, ip timing is likely off. I would say you're surging and hard starting is a fuel supply problem. Although sounds like you could have a lot of blowby. To upload video, upload it to youtube, then copy the link. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Promise... the build

You could do like the old tailgate "latch" style. Like model A truck. Two pieces of metal that line up and you drop a hook through. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
