From what I’ve seen, the US gear overdrive box is super strong. A lot like a brownie. Just shifted electronically with a toggle. If I could make it work, that’d be pretty sick to split gears. I hate the price but that’s about what they run usually.
Found this. It has all the stuff for a speedo. I know that I could make a mount to run it divorced, but the only hang up is the yolk situation from the t case to this. I’d literally set it up like a divorced t case, but I’m not sure how I’d mount a yolk or flange to the front or this. What do...
So with the 085 I had, I just looked up the part number and it’s a pretty common filter size. For the factory turbo kit I just used whatever a&m filter that fit the pipe. It’s a non oiled filter
Nah I don’t live in an apartment. That was actually the lady’s retirement home.
My mommy and daddy still let me live with them so I’m thinking by the time I retire I can afford to move out. At least here in California LOL. I’m hoping I can build a house out on the family property. Also…. Thank...
Y’all will be excited to hear that…. I haven’t done jack **** to my truck because I’ve been busy. Really miss being 16. Anyways. My girlfriend got her insurance crap settled and got a pretty nice settlement. We just bought her “replacement”. Exactly the same as her old one, 4.0 automatic 4x4...
My buddy Vince bought this. 7.3 with factory turbo kit and e4od. Runs awesome. Except the other day we were resealing the turbo and we cut out a bunch of wires from the glow plug harness because the relay was still behind the intake lol. I disconnected the relay power wires, the signal wire, and...
Unrelated to my truck. I’m probably going to make you guys mad but I find the undercarriage of this cummins extreme pretty to look at. Had to have been pressure washed every day LOL. The market is insane in California but also if I had a truck that desirable there’s no way I wouldn’t take...
Well she’s gone. She treated us well. Got 500$ out of it so I’m pleased. Now some person is going to dismantle it and see how the radiator support is Stick welded together, the layer of jb weld on both engine and transmission pans, and then the rear crash bar that is solid mounted to the sub...
My stepdad, Kenny, who I really wish I shared my last name with, is so funny about my truck. He’s such a dad about it. He’d always be on my ass in highschool because it’d leak oil all over the driveway. But every time anything happened to it he’d show up with the tow strap and complain the whole...
Here are some pictures from our weekend. It is 114 outside so I really wish I was still up there LOL. Little green bean did great. Then I started it this morning and it was a 4 cylinder, so I guess it really wants that tune up.
I’ve strayed so far from the 6.9 project. Not really. But this thread is proof adhd exists. Loving my little ranger. Got the a/c going and cleaned it up. Passed smog with flying colors, it doesn’t burn a lick of oil. Needs a tune up it idles a little rough, but other than that its great. Going...
It has 289k miles. Stock engine, but a new transmission and clutch about a year ago and he said he had the front end rebuilt and had the shop go through the driveshaft and service the rear end. So it has a bunch of miles but I was less concerned about paying over 2k because I know it’s got a lot...
Here’s my one terrible night time photo. My 2500$ ranger. One owner, I love old trucks. The guy was really embarrassed that he was so emotional about selling it and I totally understand the connection to these things. It was his first brand new vehicle and he built his whole family with it.
