He’s my best friend so I can say this, he’s got a 97 7.3 and he has that attitude towards dumb **** that doesn’t matter yet half the truck actually needs it LOL Like he has a really nice e fuel kit on it with ragged out injectors and my vice grips are still on the fuel line for the front tank LOL- Laine D

Yeah I was super impressed when I opened it One of my friends is a “everything has to be name brand or a kit” type of guy and he has the brand sump, I think it’s almost 200$. I had to screw with him about it, he didn’t like that too much.- Laine D

Got my fuel tank skid plate modded for the sump I haven’t purchased yet. And I figured I’d strip and paint the hitch to make it look a little nicer. You can kinda see along the frame but I got all the wiring ran and in new loom. All I had at the moment were white zip ties so I’ll re-tie them all...- Laine D

Wide-range ZF-5 poll
To me it depends on power level, gearing, tires and what you use your truck for. I hated mine with 3.55’s and anything hooked to the back. Mainly because I’d drop so far out of the power band my egts would crank up even with the turbo spooling fast. If I shift around 3k it’s not bad but I don’t...- Laine D

I’ve heard a lot of mixed feelings about this and I can definitely understand. I think that what I’ll be working on is different enough from what I like to mess with that I’ll be alright for a while. Not diesel related but I like my ranger just as much. I found a nice door, my old on was all messed up. It had a big dent in it. Picked up this camper shell Thursday for a hundred bucks. Howdy guys. Pulled everything off the frame and re-fabricated/designed some stuff. I stripped the cab floor and painted it. Doing the same thing to the bed. Also have most of the interior put together. Have the gooseneck holes drilled and the brackets for it are all built- Laine D

S362sxe too big?
Stage 1 injectors won’t really make any difference until you get into pumps bigger than 110. I have a 90cc pump and a little bigger turbo. It really made it more driveable. Check out r&d or cdd to see some of the stuff they recommend for power levels and what not.- Laine D

Definitely has been run on a t4 style kit but that’s about all I know. Would be a good turbo if you weren’t on stock fuel.- Laine D

Yup, they actually still get quite a few cats at that dealer which is weird considering we’re in California. My buddy works at Volvo and they’re mainly detroits.
