Hello friends. I would like to fix my a/c. The truck is currently set up for r12 still, a summer ago I had it charged and it was great but then the compressor took a crap. So here’s my thing.
I recently bought a 7.3 turbo engine that I plan to one day in the far away future (I’m in no rush)...
Yeah it’ll be fine. My friend has an n/a 7.3 and we put a turbo pump on it. As long as it’s not cranked up, I don’t think there will be enough extra fuel to cause and issues
Hey man I saw this on Facebook. So like I said on that group, you definitely were not running away on oil. There’s no way it would be idling. You simply stuck the shutoff solenoid and even when you unplugged the wire it was still stuck, that’s why it kept running. Now there was plenty of fuel...
The middle of nowhere sounds pretty great. What sucks is that I absolutely adore California and I don’t want to leave. If I can somehow make enough money to stay here and enjoy it I’d do it LOL
170k. Anyways. The older and more independent I get the more I just want to go buy a couple acres that backs up to blm land and not have to screw with anybody anymore.
Today I stepped on a nail at work. Once I got off, I went to get fuel at Costco. I hate the city I hate the city I hate the city. Damn near had to get out and park somebody’s car for them so I could actually get fuel. Then I went to get my tire fixed as the wait yesterday was 3 hours long...
Hey guys. I’m not having any luck at junkyards and from what I’ve gathered LMC only has certain trim parts and they’re for single cabs/Broncos. I’m looking for the passenger side trim that bolts to the cab and bed. You can see where it’s missing in the photo. I have no idea how much they’re...
In my opinion it was too hot to be inside the cab messing with weatherstripping. So I decided to do my brakes. I discovered once I cleaned everything that the shoes still had a good amount of meat on them (and Oreilly’s sent me the wrong shoes) so I just cleaned it, put new hardware in, and then...
I did the weatherstripping on the drivers side. Embarrassed to say it took me 3 hours. It was absolutely terrible, I have no idea why it was so hard for me. The wing window gave me the most trouble
A nice thing about trucks with bad paint, you can test out colors for under 30$. I bought some really cheap gloss black. Put about 3 coats down. Then I sprayed (indirectly, from about 2 feet away) some metal flake black that I got. Then after that I did 2-3 coats of gloss clear coat enamel...
I can’t say for any other company as I haven’t used their pumps, but wes’ pumps have a really flat fuel curve. My 90cc only smokes if I lug it. I had a 110 on here temporarily and it was on older style pump from wes, had like 160ccs and then dropped down to 110. Even on that the smoke was...
