I'd clean it up and assess. Hard to believe all of those things are leaking. Starter is the drain point for the hold down on the valley pan up top. Anything coming from on top of the engine is going to run down the rear passenger side of the engine/transmission. Spray down the valley pan with...
That'll be fun with the Phillips screws on there.... Passenger side can be tight. I glued the gasket into the valve cover to hold it in place while getting it back on.
You might try snugging up your valve cover screws. They only take 6 foot pounds of torque.
Somebody installed a later...
Fuel, Air, compression ~ heat. You've proven the fuel and air. There needs to be enough heat in the cylinder to kerplode the diesel air mix. That takes some or all of the glow plugs, a warm combustion chamber, sufficient seal between rings and valves and sufficient rpms from the starter.
Spends a week outdoors getting primal then doesn't want to get rained on pumping fuel. LOL. You should own some locking gas caps if you're going to dance that close to the fire again.
You can use any brand of glow plugs as long as they are motocraft/beru. Too many problems reported with other brands.
Clean that mess up then you can find the leak. Now that you have the drain cleared, hose it out and it'll run down the side of the transmission. Only a few places that can...
Cedric. Tell the urologist to keep his dip stick out of your stick shifter. My dad said his leaked for a month after that adventure.
Move your hot wire from your offroad lights to your headlights and your headlights will work. Hot, ground and a fuse if you aren't feeling adventurous. I'd come...
Doesn't his tach signal come from the PCM for his year? Sensor sends signal to PCM. PCM sends signal to the tach. If not, ignore me.

Maybe it's electrical. I'd check fuses etc per the last post in that thread...
It was originally a red/green wire which is switched voltage. It branches off as needed. There is no straight battery voltage to those items you mentioned. Feeds the glow plug controller, the fuel heater, the fuel shut off solenoid and the temp sensor for the cold advance and high idle.
I'd...
That doesn't tell you anything. You're reading voltage through the relay to ground. To test your new wire, disconnect from the relay, put your meter between battery negative and your wire. Press your button and you should see 12v.
You're reading through the glow plugs. This also doesn't...
Easiest way to find it it to look behind the drivers wheel well for the drain hose and follow it up. That's the hose you'll want to put a bolt or valve in after you pull the drain to drain any water.....
@Selahdoor has it right. You can test the relay by touching a hot wire to the post where the purple wire was. It should click and your wts light should go on.
Does your momentary switch supply power or ground?
If it supplies power, it goes to the purple side.
If it supplies ground...
That is only the controller. The relay that is triggered by it is elsewhere. You will need to manually trigger your contactor if you don't trust the controller. The relays aren't known for sticking on.
Leave the controller. Replace the relay if you want. Run a manual push button to the relay.
Do they use the same radiator support?
Going to need to swap over to the diesel fuel senders and tank valve. Be a good time to replace or modify the shower heads. Instrument swap for the tach and wts light?
Not tracking on the transfer case. Are you saying the output on the zf5 is different...
That sucks.
It looks solid. I would expect to see coolant there if it wasn't. What is that brown glue looking stuff?
Three or four layers of cardboard support my fat self while napping on top of the engine.
Upside is the left head is easier to pull.... Sorry
