Removed rear diff cover...drained and replaced fluid...seeing as gears were a used set and I am getting a wee bit noise I figured it was a good idea to do this to flush out any greeblies from the change over.
Then removed rear tyres to rotate to front and installed two matching ones I had in...
Oh....I see...those are stock locknuts I use on my rides......
So I am guessing that the auto hubs dont have that setup...take pics of yer stuff please I like learning new stuff.

IIRC 86 rear has tone ring sensor on it and should work for your application.
The front axle is as u guessed a basic bolt in.
You shoukd get longer 350 shocks too and also do not forfet the track bar and its mount and the pitmam arm as well.

Problem w water especially on roads....
Never know if u may just suddenly drop into a 8' sink hole or something is buried and effs yer ride....
Moving water cuts nice so a deep channel cut may go un-noticed untill you find yer 35" tyre suddenly swallowed w no wait out.

Drove down hiway for test run and wow completely different truck....tracks nice easy light corrections and cornering.
