    What year truck? May want to try a simple but really fricken hard fix. Remove small clutch arm from clutch pedal cross shaft....the arm that actuates the clutch mc. Now with it off...and free...reinstall it aligned so as the mc rod eye lines up.... Just saying....its about the only...

    Higher rpm Lower egt = Higher oil temp Higher oil temp...dumps heat to cooling system Do you have an oil temp guage? Oil is a primary coolant fyi....adding auxillary oil cooling could be the end all be all.... Seems I recall an auxillary oil cooler thread on this site... JM7.3CWEh!

    If valve is stuck... Say ex stuck...the motion of piston will make some noise out intake...and visa versa Just saying....air will be moving about at wrong times and should likely create some kind of audible noise.

    Chuff out exhaust indicates ex valve huff out intake ...take off air filter lid....indicates intake valve.... Thats easy check

    Elephant snot....aka avaiation form a gasket.....I put that ahit on everything... Best advice I offer... Clean...then Clean...then seeing its NOT ACTUALLY CLEAN CLEAN...AGAIN. think of a wound...if u get a cut and keep it clean it heals...but if u dont it swells gets pussy and leams Well...

    Though no cracks the plate on engine bay side could be seperating. I suggest have someone press clutch and u watch firewall in engine bay. Also look into the Major kit for firwall reinforcement....it made a huge difference to my wheel doing what yours is doing. JM7.3CW Eh!

    Yes it is a source for undue noise and vibration if too much slop exists and allows the splined yoke to wobble some distorting the splines.

    Clutch would be hoohaw to get Bellhousing different Likely drive shaft lengths be different It has a 1st like a PS 5SP ZF 2nd is like our idi zf OD is close to same as our zf If free n u can manage new shafts n such be kewl...but hardly worth it. JM7.3CW Eh!
