Got my 4.10 installed.....one day gutting diff one day installing it.
My son amd his gf came oit Sunday and he helped me on my install whilst cutting and crimping his wires for his CC 93 4X IDI.
We got it all buttoned up with CSEK and yesterday I swapped out the drive shaft and installled...
Rear diff...gutted...no bearings nadda...going to rest for the day...am beat.
Tomorrow wire brush off rear face and the diff cover.... axle shaft faces and hub faces..clean out inside of diff old oil etc and prep for bearing race install.
Setup CSEK and check beaing torque load. Then once set...
What a day....
So when I was say 5lbs boost at around 2400 2600 rpm engine fell flat on its face big time...choked off completely.
Culprit was a 90 deg 3" rubber boot between air filter housing and turbo...my solution today...make a 3" aluminum 90 sleev fitting inside the boot to combat this...
I strongly suggest u replace grounds.
Like mblany i to build my own cables....however I crimp solder amd heatshrink LOL
I also run a balance ground wire from battery to battery.
My cables are 3/0 pos n neg amd 4 gua for a balance ground...
JM7.3CW Eh!
I am using TDH Tractor hydraulic fluid and its great.
I have hydroboost and run full size filter and remote cooler w no appreciable issues what so ever
I often wonder about installing a deadman roll over collision switch that the efi guys have inline w their setup.....usually inner drivers kick iirc could be pass cant recall
Chock wheels...set emergency brake
Remove clutch inspection cover
Paint marker, felt pen or grease pen a line on flywheel clutch disk and pressure plate.
Remove chocks release emergency brake amd test...if clutch slips line would not line up any longer.
JM7.3CW Eh!
Yes and that stupid adjustment nut screw on top plays into that demonstrably by slackening it off. I paint markr 1/2 of the slot bolt and adjust 1/8-1/4 turn at a time retighten locknut and test drive....
Just sayin
You know...ob group buy on rh boxes has sure been poor so far. I would encourage u to get refund...also show em this build thread too as it helps e plain 0 miles.
Not sure wtf happened but now I am doubting a rh purxhase in future...
