Conestoga diesel
Russ aka @typ4 here
Or justin at R&D IDI performance are the best places for pumps and or injectors...sadly anywhere else is crap shoot....
Sounds like somethings awry for sure...
If u cam acess a lathe....bore the threadless injector body tip....then you can tap it for same thread as vice grip bolt...use slide hammer to pull tip out...when I get home I will add pics of my injector tool to show what I mean.
2 things....drain filter and save current coolant...
Use A box of automatic dish detergent poured and dissolved into boiling water....fill rad soak it and rinse well..do a couple times...then install w autodishdetergent again dissolved in water and fulsh system...why not clean out block.
Auto...
Milled heads
Deep recess of valves
Either shim out rockers as mentioned maintaining pushrod length at current state and rocker contact as is seen
Or run shorter pushrods and run rockers w contact as is...and seen....
Neither is ideal.
There is one hella lot more to valve train geometry than...
I did add oil last recharge n silly adapter Comes w kit says ok....
Need swap to 3 g Alt now.....grrrrr.....get my charge rate up AC drops it NOW like mofo....grrr
Ok if that works for you thats kool.
Think I myself will pass on this teqnique ...however it could be a very usefull tool to determin shorter pushrod length....so win there..
Maybe i am just too damn finicky eh
True you could SHIM rocker stands some however I dissagree w the pushrod issue...however WITHOUT comparing collapsed vs fully pumped lifter its difficult to say and really it iant the lifters job to make up that change...it too is designed to work within certain parameters and I doubt that this...
Over recessing valves messes up rocker to valve stem contact and can cause greater issues w guide wear and poor contact.
Only way to deal w that might be machine stems down...shim the slrings...oh how the issues compuond quickly.
Perhaps a better idea is to machine a few thou off pistons or...
There is little to no chance of working a scope down injector and then past precup.
Removing intake and going past a valve may be doable.
Again stacking tollerances and adding lift are a quick way to compound the issue of kissing valves and pistons.
These clearances need be full checked and...
Do NOT Tie into fuse box....run seperate line w circut breaker directly from bat as instructed.
If u overload system could melt it down but a seperate line fused properly is much simpler to diagnose etc.
Dont rethink their instructions it is what they deem best.
JM7.3CW Eh!
I have that cold air intake...draws below bat box
87-91 goes above bat box but has hole for that style so I use it as my group 31 bats leave no room for over bat style
