I would have to disagree with that. Certain engines where bad for rocker wear , 350 chev, 300 fords with cast rockers. They all wear a certain amount just the nature of the style. IMO really has very little to do with being run low on oil. Bearing being worn and not allowing enough oil to be...
Yes they did, actually the intake in a sense was part of the head, pretty good engine really, it was such a strong engine that Nascar made rules to prohibit it.
Back a lot of years ago when I was doing engine rebuilding always ran into weird stuff like this. 350 chevs had a special tool for spreading the exhaust manifold to get the bolts to line up. and like on Ford FE engines, 352- 390, always left the head bolts loose until the intake was on and...
Just going by the information have gotten from a rebuilder source, where they claim the main webs are .100 thicker . Being I have only rebuild what can out of the trucks , I have never put a mic to things like that. IDIBronco the webs could be thicker on a turbo and same bearings fit by where...
I know on my 93 dually you can't run 235s, Mine had those on when I bought it, used. Was hard to chain up and the fronts where to close to fender and rubbed too if I remember right when max turning. Went back to 215s now things are fine. I guess never know there was two different set of rims.
You have a bracket that is bolted to the engine then bolted to it is the insulator, motor mount , bolts to the frame mount. The mount is a one piece unit . Non repairable, if rubber part is bad then the mount needs replacing.
If the brake pedal feels the same as with the engine off then I would agree to that you are losing to much vacuum for the booster to operate correctly. Might need to put a vacuum gauge on to see what you do have when pushing the pedal down. It will drop , but should come right back up, vacuum...
Information I looked was wrong then . Don't have the IDI information so had to look it up . But still no way would I remove .200 thousands out of the piston. By the time you have a machinist do the work would be into it for the cost of new pistons.
IDIT annd PSD are 33 mm and IDI are 30 mm , 3 mm is .118 thousands .You still have to machine for the snap ring. IMO it is not worth the hassle.
