Thanks guys for the feed back. The TruCool looks like a good option. I was thumbing through the Summit book last night and there are plenty of gauges to choose from as well.
I am posting for a friend who has a 00' PSD. While we were coming home yesterday his tranny got real hot (coolant puking) coming down a decent grade. He is wanting to put an additional tranny cooler on it and a temp guage. Can you guys recommend one that he can do himself. We are both pretty...
The Duramax is quiet but my step dad has a 98' Dodge and for some reason when he starts that thing it just sounds mean. But I am glad I do not have to listen to it everyday.
I saw one the other day pulling what looked to be about a 27' travel trailer. It squatted a bit due to lack of proper setup but seemed to be doing a good job. Not sure about the hills though.
This project looks great. I have wanted to do something like this on a 72' but there never seems to be enough time or more importantly money. Good job. ;Sweet
You sure would think so. By the way, that was when I was looking at Dodge back in 02'. The GMC dealer is different, they do great work even though I bought in another city.
I tried that here and the dealer said go ahead and buy it from them cause we will not move on our price. He also mentioned that warranty and normal service would be on the bottom of the pile becasue of the purchase from some one else.
jlayne, thanks for the response. I will let hime know he needs to check these things. Yes, it does slip out under throttle. I am not sure if his truck has ever seen a ditch let alone cross one.
A friend of mine has a 91' F-250 that once in a while the transfer case will slip out of high range. It will go back in but for how long?? It has the ZF 4 speed if that matters. Not sure what transfer case is in it but it has not been changed from stock. Ant ideas? Linkage?
I have them. Bought a new TT. Have not used them yet except to bring it home. Seemed to work well though. Bought them at Summitt Racing for around $50.00.
