I hear the solenoid clicking. The old IP didn't click. That's why I originally started replacing it. I did not order the pump from Pensacola. I ordered it from U-Haul surplus. It may not even be a rebuild, but a New-Old-Stock Ford unit. Well crap... When I replaced the Injection pump...- Pele

New pump, still shiny with the yellow anti-tamper paint on all the screws. Not sure if it's a reman or New-Old-Stock. I didn't have to send in a core. I took off the little cover under the oil fill and removed three bolts. Left the timing gear in place and just matched up the keyway. I...- Pele

Need a few wiring diagrams and some rewiring ideas.
I'm really concentrating on the fuel level sensors and rear ABS sensor... I've got a few wires that aren't connected and all the tail lights work properly, but the fuel gauge doesn't work and the ABS light is on.- Pele

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. Rather than cutting and splicing when I need it disconnected, I'd rather just unplug the individual parts on the engine... But since the whole thing is a melted ball of plastic, I need to figure out what goes where. There are many different colors in there...- Pele

The thing is, anyone can open up a store and sell these. They all get sent back to Bosch for rebuilding. Get whomever has the lowest price and best service. I got mine from www.dieselautopower.com- Pele

I'm kinda having a hard time understanding fuel flow through this pump... Fuel enters through the center of the unit and then what? Are there eight individual pistons to shoot high pressure fuel to each of the injector, or is it just a distributor rotor and there's one high pressure pump? How...- Pele

I removed the cover and put +12 volts to both solenoids... (I had to ground the cover.) The small one in the back moves a little. The big one that has the arm on it moves a lot.- Pele

Any more help? I'm getting harassed by the county to move my truck or they'll impound it. Do I really need to spend on a new injection pump or is there anything I can do quickly to get this thing running? Mechanical pump is working. Fuel gets to the filter. Have no clue how to diagnose the injection pump. No goo... Just brown dirt; solid particles. Enough to clog it probably. Most likely knocked into the tank from when I had the pickup assembly off a few months ago. When I replaced the glow...- Pele
