My IHC truck I do have pyrometer on it and it mounted after the turbo 2 inches away and for the max temp you can go 1150°F post turbo.
For preturbo pyrometers expect about 200 -300 ° F higher reading than mine is.
If you have boost gauge with stock engine expect to get about 22 PSIG WOT...

I ran into generator verison of that engine one ran at 415 rpm and other verison ran at 600 RPM { that one it was ******* turbochargers...
IIRC the 3512 and 3516 are MHUI and the 3600 series is MUI for now but will add electronic verison later.
To add quick tibbit I am sure they did come in EHUI as well on the 3500 series family depending on early or late series.
