First 0F start!
I have 60G plugs in my truck and they have been in there for three years now. The 60G plugs are shorter than the stock plugs, and I think I may have some carbon build up in the holes as it takes a little longer glow cycle than it used to. Manual gps
If the relay is like a regular starter solenoid it will ground through the case not the "I" terminal. If the case (mounting flange) can't ground it won't work. If it is a regular starter solenoid it probaly won't last long. A constant duty solenoid works better. I picked mine up a NAPA for $24...- cornbinder 84

Point of no Return
Since your are using flux core wire make sure you get the weld ground down and cleaned good. I have seen a weld made with a flux core welder show in the body work after a year or so. Usually it is where the flux and slag is left in a pin hole in the weld. I don't if there is a chemical reaction...- cornbinder 84

speeds while towing
There is a 1.5 mile grade from my house that is 8 to 10% grade that I have to start from a dead stop at the bottom. Torque, tension, and head bolts
The bolts were ASTM A325 which is similar to a Grade 5 bolt, but we also did some testing with some ASTM A409 bolts which is similar to a Grade 8 bolt. Clutch rod problems
Yeah the whole rod cam out. It has already been drilled for a cotter pin. Haven't got to work on it any yet becasue of the rain yesterday and it is snowing and cold today. So it will probably be the weekend anyway.- cornbinder 84

Clutch rod problems
Backed a big load of firewood in the yard awhile ago to unload it and I shut off the truck and let out on the clutch then bang the clutch rod hit me in the shin. Headliners are not that bad to fix. I have done about a dozen over the years. What happens is the heat breaks down the foam backing. What the heck are these?
Standard ignition parts have been around for a long time. The auto parts store I worked for when I was a kid carried Standard ignition and later on we switched to Niehoff ignition. I didn't know that Standard did glow plugs though. Jack- cornbinder 84
