    Yeah he wasnt a good welder at all. I figured thats what id do with the studs but I didnt know if the hub/ studs are ok for that kind of weight.

    Top Starter Bolt

    What worked for me was a shallow socket with a 6" and a 1" behind that. On mine I was able to guide the bolt into the hole with my fingers and then thread it in carefully with the extension.

    I was able to get em off with an older snap on 1/4 inch drive ratchet and shallow 9/16 socket with some ease.
