Used less filters after doing it this way, combined with settling. There were times that the oil came out surprisingly clean looking...

I actually did this for awhile, and used air to agitate and help the process. Problem is what do you do with all that water?

The new issue would be that you had a bunch of WMOW(waste motor oil water) and I'm not sure who you'd pawn that off on. But it's a sound...
