Zf5 trans parts

Superduty didn't come factory with a zf5. I have heard of a few very early build 99 with them though. You should have a zf6.

To answer your question though. The master just bolts to the firewall, slave has the bracket already attached when you buy it.

My brother in law is putting a zf5 into his obs and told me it came out of an '01. He said his did not have the 2 bolt bracket and he needs it

It may have come out of an '01 but it definitely wasn't factory in it. The zf5 and zf6, and even the hydraulic clutch 4spd use the same slave cylinder and then don't bolt on.

Gotcha, juat was trying to help him. I'm not a manual guy and that is the part he told me he needed.

After looking at my trucks the 4spd and zf5 use the same slave which is a clip on bracket. The zf6 is a totally different setup. I would upload pictures but my service is pretty much non existent at the moment

Not sure if that picture loaded or not, if so that's an 83 t19 4spd.

Gotcha! I will try and see if I can get pictures tomorrow from his transmission to see if I can help
