good price or should I keep looking I want to do a swap from my e40d to a manual. I would like a 6 speed or higher to help with hauling heavy in the summer and better controle in the winter if I get the one with the transfer case will it work on my 2wd dully if I take the transfer case off. I do not want 4wd on my truck I will be hauling at close to the load limit so I dont need the extra weight.

Do not get the 4x4 zf expecting to "just take off the transfer case." You have to change the tailhousing, it is not worth it.

However, you CAN put the 4x4 zf in with the transfer case, and just not add a front axle. It will work just fine only driving your rear. A few here have done that. It gives you the additional compound low from the transfer case. Having a compound low reverse is really worth the little bit of extra weight from just the transfer case. Especially if you plan on backing uphill loaded to the gills.

Couldnt say on the turbo, but the transmission prices seem fair. When i was looking i was gettin right around 400-600 for a 4x4 zf with Xfer case. saw a few 2x4s for around 300-400.

The 2wd ZF doesn't say if its from a diesel or not.

As far as the turbo a guy would need more info on it as far as what sizes in intake and exhaust are. Also how are you going to mount it, plumb it, oil it, etc? Easier to locate a 6.9/7.3 specific kit unless you are interested in going the custom route.
