whats the best engine rebuild manual???

Im about to start tearing into my 7.3 and was wondering what would be the best manual for me to buy would be and where to buy it. Any info would be greatly appericated.

i found a haynes manual but its for the chevy diesels and fors diesels. Thas alot of info to cram into a book thats 3/4" thick.... im sure its missing alot of info

The ford manuals are a must have imo. Ihave a 1987 and 1993 set with wiring diagrams. I f you need something that i can copy e mail or fax it let me know.

There is a company doing factory repop manuals,, helm?
I can pull the info out of a file if no body chimes in!

I try to avoid Haynes manuals. I know they're British, but I still have problems with a repair publication that puts a "y" in tire and 2 "t"'s in carburetor.

Interesting, I found the Haynes manuals to be decent. Chiltons was the useless one IMHO. The Haynes 'diesel engine manual' copies much of what it says straight out of the Ford manual.

Best is the OE Ford manual. I have a spare 84 manual if you're interested.
