OBS Powerstrokes respond better to a chip than programmers. Super Duty's like the programmers better.

In open to either, my buddy had an edge evolution on his 96 F350 4x4 and it worked damn good.

you will need something. my company '97 F450 was flat-out nutless in stock trim. I literally was driving it like a detroit in order to get any power out of it.

My 97 F450 hauled the mailed in stock form, worked A1 - I figured the 4.63 rear gear had a big part in it.

compared to my IDI F450, the PSD F450 had no balls coming out of the hole. both rigs topped out at 85 mph. the IDI's power fell off quickly when hitting the hills, but from a standstill, I'll take mech injected anyday.

I can't complain about my old IDI until I hit a hill... Especially bad if you couldn't get a run at it

May even look into a quick spool housing.

Some places have the tw6 chips pretty cheap.
