Turbo Question

[91 7three]

I got the numbers and what not off of the turbo that I got (its a banks kit). It has "roto-master" stamped on the induction housing along with "A/R 60," and the number on it is 104530.

Can someone tell me what this turbo is? I think its a gen 1 but not sure. Can somebody tell me about this thing? I cant find anything.

nope pics wont work for me. parts support from banks is a joke.... ha the turbo they offer now is different from that old style one anyhow.

Yeah but I've heard you can still get parts for the Gen 1's.

I think if you look hard enough you can find parts for damn near everything! but they just wont come from banks

If it was that one thread where I mentioned wheels and exhaust housings, we were talking about a powerstroke turbo. (Garret tp38)

i can tell you from personal experience banks doesn't deal in parts. they will sell you a replacement turbo but idk that that would even be the case with the old style you have. sounds like he was talking about a garrett

IIRC it's a variety of T3 Garret turbo or at least similar to it. I'd bet a turbo shop could source parts.
