Paul, good to hear they work well in the snow...I haven't had a chance to try them yet in the snow yet. After getting the glow plugs resolved and whatnot, I may have to run up to Tahoe or somethin'...haven't been up to the snow in quite a while. :)

My dad was kind enough to cover the tires (and the front-end work) for me...came out to $161.99 per tire, from a Big-O at Quartz Hill in southern California, about an hour and a half north of L.A. on the 14 freeway. I still need to get a replacement spare...

George, once I get out of school and actually have enough $$ to keep fuel in my truck's tanks (and/or enough yard space to start making biodiesel), she'll see more road-time. :) I'm going to wash the entire truck after I get the plugs done, and we'll see how she looks with Tristan's old hubcaps. But, no amount of washing will take away the few spots in the black paint where my uncle's step-dad wore the paint down to primer from too much waxing...she still needs a paint job. But, that's another "after-I-get-out-of-school" thing. :)

Banana Belt? That's a new one... :)

Rust is still a relatively minor issue, though. The sea air can eat things.

But, it's a lot better than road salt...

Warden,

I've got two polished aluminum 94-97 PSD wheels with center caps (fronts w/ no hub hole) for sale if you're interested. They are new take offs from a conversion van company. I got a full set in need of some TLC from my neighbor, so I polished them out & will be using them instead. $85.00/ wheel & you pay shipping if your interested. PM or email me. My Digital camera is still MIA since moving, but I assure you they are in perfect shape. The center caps will fit the front wheels on a 4X4, but you have to cut the center out & it fits like a glove.:D
