My truck laided down today. Got fuel to the IP, but not to the injectors. IP is 2yrs old on rebuild with new stop solenoid.
I was 10 miles into my trip, engine temp was 190. Outside temp was 45 degrees. (below freezing last night)
I have heard that the cold fuel on a hot pump can cause internal pump damage.
What do you think?

Check for power to the shutoff solenoid, I've had the fusible link on the passenger inner fender fry for no apparent reason. Replaced with an inline fuse and never had another issue.

Check your lift pump as well. You can be fooled by some fuel at Ip but not enough to build the pressure to pop the injectors.

I took the side cover off to see the rotor, & it's not turning with the engine so I guess the shaft is broken.

are you sure you were looking at the rotor? you have to look through that small hole in the cam ring to see the rotor.
