I used a glow shift brand 4 gauge pod. I am happy with it.

I also have my pyro on an autometer steering column pod made for a 99 superduty. It fits good, but if you have an automatic, you will have to trim the hole for the shifter.

Banks? I have a triple from tbe previous owner. Other than that you gotta get fancy and splice 2 different pillar pieces together.

New picture of autometer steering column pod.

Both of these were similar quality products. I would use the glowshift pod again.

At work atm so I can't take a pic of mine, so I will just point out that the inside diameter of 2" PVC pipe fits a standard gauge perfectly, if you have to fabricate.

Cheesy, but cheap and functional.

Consider your idea pirated!! Yarrrr!!! I've got PVC in many sizes laying around the shop! Good idea! Better than forkin out the $80 LMC wants for a triple gauge pillar. Oh yeah....did I mention www.lmctruck.com has em? One of these days I'm gonna start a thread called "here's a company that sells so many factory replacement parts you can darn near build an entire truck".

Yea stay away from the glowshift, china made it so light the back clamps wont fit in the pod without serious mods!
