I was having problems with my truck cutting out after a short time of driving, so with previous problems on other trucks with the screens clogging up in the tank, I dropped the tank. Sure enough the two screens on the sending unit were full of rust. I cleaned the screens and housing spotless and had the tank coated, cleaned the fuel bowl spotless and replaced the fuel filter. I put it all back together and fired it up. It ran about two minutes and cut off. Wouldnt crank back up. When I open the fuel drain or take the fuel bowl cap off it sprays fuel WAY harder than any of my other trucks have. I pulled the fitting off the back right head and releived all the pressure, and the screen was clean. With the pressure relieved it crunk up and ran another two minutes before shutting off again due to too much pressure. What would cause the fuel to not return back to the tank. Or any other problems that could cause my problem?
