I've been looking at Tonneau covers for my truck & I've been leaning torwards the soft covers.
I've been looking at The Access cover line

security isn't a big deal since I rarely haul a lot back there unless I'm going to the dunes or race track, I just want to clean up the airflow to get a bit better milage especally when towing my enclosed trailer.
I also like the way they look.

The Fiberglass ones are tough & good looking but can be twice the price as soft covers.

I've seen ripped soft covers (replacement covers are $129) & I've seen cracked fiberglass covers.

any one have strong (or not so strong) opinions?

What Max said.:Thumbs Up These look great and seem to be very easy to operate with the bearings. I'm in the process of ordering one up for the wifes Dakota.

yep, from owning all 3 the retractable covers are the best.
Soft ones are hard to manipulae when cold and the bows are a PITA.
The hard ones work well, but crack the box where they attatch in 4x4 situations...tough to get on with 1 person..... and if you need to haul a tall object unecpectedly you are SOL as you cannot drive with the lid up!

Retrax are good from what i hear, i own a Roll'n'lock myself.
The only downside is they can freeze open or shut, but it is minor and easy to fix

I decided on the Acess cover!

thanks for the suggestions guys!!:D

I just ordered the Access Cover
I liked the way it looked, it seems tough enough for my use & the price wasn't too bad ($429 carry out).

Hopefully it'll pay for itself eventually in fuel savings.
I'll post pics here when I get it on!!

Thanks again!
