Well folks, i blew a tire saturday night, noticed one is pretty wore and two arent too bad. Anyways, im wanting to go to a larger tire now (315/75/16)

Anyone run the General Grabber AT2s?

I can get them for 170 installed vs the 219.99 for bfg AT KOs.

what i had was mastercraft cts, and yet again im having wear problems with them.

Actually, I think 315s will clear on the pre-93 trucks. I have a 93 and I believe I have to shim the bumper out on mine to clear it but several folks told me that the earlier flat fronts have more bumper clearance.

Do a search on my threads before you cut your bumper.

Every General tire I've seen gets cupped really bad and then they S-I-N-G on the highway...regardless of what kind of vehicle they're on.

I'd go with the BFG's, I've never had trouble as long as they get rotated and the pressure checked frequently.
