The Best way to spend $1000?

Just how much does an IC install lower our EGTs, are we talking 50-100 or a 100+

I'd say without a doubt 100+*F, but I can't be 100% sure.

The reason I ask is I have a aftermarket core laying around for an EVO that measures 18x26 and is 3in thick, would this be thick enough to notice any kind of gains or should I just hold off and get a 6.0 IC.

18x26x3 would probably work out fine, i know the hypermax intercooler is a lot smaller than like a 6.0L one, and other people have purchased ebay intercoolers and have used them with much success.

Thank you, I was unsure about the size, I know it flows enough to support a 400hp car with a small t4 turbo, but was unsure about the flow coming out of the stock turbo on the 7.3s.

I'm in Idaho so the Moose pump and Injectors would be sweet but thats a long way to shipp parts, how much for a moose pump with matching injectors, if you have cores for the pump and injectors?
