That’d be a short driveshaft lolYou wouldn't have to do much cutting. Just beef up the rear suspension and put it in the bed.
Why would you need a driveshaft if you set the engine in the bed? That’d be a short driveshaft lol
To hook the trans to the rear end, unless I was to direct drive it lol.Why would you need a driveshaft if you set the engine in the bed?
Why wouldn't the Ranger engine pull it around? To hook the trans to the rear end, unless I was to direct drive it lol.
Ohhhhh I thought you were saying to engine swap the 6.9 into a ranger and put it in the bed.Why wouldn't the Ranger engine pull it around?

Yep. Much easier to just set it in the bed and drive around like that. No mounting, no wiring, no plumbing. That sounds like a lot more work.
And a whole lot of ballast!Yep. Much easier to just set it in the bed and drive around like that. No mounting, no wiring, no plumbing.
No need for sand bags in the winter time. And a whole lot of ballast!

Second guy has been diagnosed with covid. This one is also off-topic.. Used my truck to visit some friends on wednesday. Had breakfast at a diner with a group of close friends.
No masks. Plenty of shaking hands. Hugs. etc.
Today, I got notice that one of them is sick with covid.
I am NOT worried.
I don't think I'll get it. But if I do, I will get over it. It's not ebola!
Of course, for a while, I'll think that everything is a symptom. Like the unusual sinus headache I have right now.
Just thinking this could get interesting!
Second guy has been diagnosed with covid.
There were six of us.
Two have it right now.
One has already had it.
Two of us think we have had it in the past, but were never tested.
And one guy is just looking at everyone like, "whut?"
Only things I have had that are anywhere close to "symptoms". Gastro problems. Really tired, constantly. Mild cold symptoms. Sinus headaches.
