What number is the serpentine belt that you are running and is it set in the adjustment guide area.

I don't remember the complete # but its 111.8" on my 94. Not sure what your asking about adjustment guide area.

The adjustment guide area is a range marked on the idler that shows where the belt should be running. It is normally marked with a couple Range lines, and an indicator on the idler setup, where the indicator should be between the Range Lines, when the proper belt is used and it is not worn out, it is at proper tension when within this range.

Interesting, I have almost the same truck but my belt is a NAPA #061120 listed as 112.5" (2860mm) X 27/32 (21mm)

The range is just as posted above... I just have a hard time explaining what I'm thinking. Its me... Not you.... Thanks for the fast replys so far.... I have a Napa 25-061110 belt and thats what it sopposedly calls for. So far I have found 4 differant length belts for our motor....:dunno

I don't think my tensioner has a range scale on it. If it did would have to have a mirror to see it.

I had a 111.8" one that was just too short, a 112.5 was just right. You could buy both and return the one that doesn't work.
