Serpentine belt squealing

Can get my belt to stop squealing. I've replaced all the pullies except for my Vacum pump. It feels fine but something squeals like crazy every time I run my truck.

Mine was squealing like crazy...li didn't have the power steering pulley aligned properly. Make sure they are really square to each other.

I'll check that. I just put a new one on but maybe it's not aligned right

Look for idiots same thread, was alignment, but...I think it came back. Might help.

Have you thrown a new belt on there?

Yea it has a new belt. Ok I'll look for it

use a straight edge from the crank pulley to the PS pulley.
there should be no gaps on the 4 points of the outside of the pulley where it would touch both pulleys
i got them all aligned, but because i painted the grooves, it still squeaks a bit.

Ok I'll try that thanks. I did paint all the pullies when the motor was out. Maybe I should hit them with some break cleaner and burn the paint off
