I have a bad rear tank/sending unit on my diesel.... and an almost new rear tank and sender on my gas junker, an '88 F150 straight six...
The '88 also has a ZF5...
Is there any reason I can't use a gas rear tank setup in my diesel if I clean it out really well?
...and is there any reason I couldn't use the ZF5 eventually for a swap out of my E4OD, if I get the correct bell housing...? (very far down the road....)
