You make me hate this state of ca more and more all the time. We get charged for doing the right thing all the time here. Ticket fees are always going up.. Just last year its a $262.00 fine for driving a pickup truck on the freeways with the tailgate down... Whats with that... I don't have a gate on my rig so whats my fine going to be... Half that....
dang that sucks! I can understand if people have all kinds of junk that could fall out of the back of truck... I've seen that before. Guy going down the freeway downtown Ottawa. Lots of traffic. He's got a bed full of stuff including a pile of masonry brick right at the edge of the bed. Tailgate down. That, IMHO, is not smart... Empty bed or secure objects? I couldn't care less...
