OK, I'm almost ready: the plow is home. The truck is a 1979 F-350 *deep breath* 4x4 SuperCab XLT Ranger Camper Special. Engine is a Cummins 6BT from a 1994 Spartan/Grumman-Olsen newspaper van, 185HP. Trans is a T-18 (T-19?) 4-speed, NP205 T-case, with a Gear Vendors OD. Axles are Dana 60's, with 3.55 gears.
It currently has an extra leaf in each front spring, and HD double front shocks. Other than a PS cooler, a big battery, a high-power alternator (electric plow pump), and extra rear lighting, what else do I need. Anyone else plow with a 1977-79?
