That might actually answer a few issues, particularly how to run the sending unit wire and make it look clean.

Interesting concept...where did you get the stainless hose from? I assume it's a braided flexible hose... Do you have any pictures?

Yup, Heat and Vibration. Also, there is not alot of room down by the oil filter for a sender.
The hose was made at a local hydraulic shop, was SS braided, and had 1/8" NPTF fittings on the ends, I think it was about $25.00 or so...
Don't know were my pictures are, my WebShots account was lost in cyberspace somewhere....
