Since I was 16 I wanted a 4 door Bronco. That was in the 90's so it wasn't going to happen. Last year I found one and made it mine.
Started out with the usual, few days after bringing it home, fuel all over the driveway. Replaced most of the fuel lines (more on this later).
Few months later, I lost all my p/s fluid, replaced more lines.
Few months later trans lines,
My E4od has been overheating. I am in the process of buying my shop, so right now, I am in a driveway. I am trying everything else before I condemn that god**** seal. I put new cooler and filters. Took it for a drive to make sure no leaks in the new components... something was leaking.
Radiator!
Put a new radiator in it tonight. It's not all the way in yet, my boyfriend dropped it on my toe, and the bleeding has yet to stop, but I hate doctors, so no stitches. And that's no Honda Civic radiator. If I was a guy I would feel inadequate. But nothing a few margaritas won't fix. I may even put margaritas instead of coolant.
Removed that famous connector on the right, made sure the exhaust hasn't been wreaking havoc on it, and even gave it some dielectric and some more insulation.
Did some relays, and removed the LED tail lights and returned to stock.
Whilst under the pig a few days ago, I noticed fuel leaking again. Of course, two inches before my new line, the old line is leaking. So going to redo nose to almost tail. Might as well do the brake lines. I just finally finally sprang for the hydraulic flare tool.
Anyway, I am praying and hoping that once I actually drive it again, the overheating was just a clogged cooler or filter!!
Cross your fingers for me, my seal, and my toe.
