I recently built a 7.3, factory turbo engine, and put it in my crew cab. It doesn't have any power, and I can't get it to boost past 8-9 psi. The old engine with the same turbo did 10-12psi, with the original compressor wheel. It has a Wicked Wheel 2, new injection pump/injectors, return line rails, and head studs, all from R&D performance. Suspect that the timing is off (don't have a gauge).
It starts REALLY easy, but rattles loud at tip-in throttle.
It's really disappointing that it has less power that the original, non-factory turbo engine. This has to be something that I've overlooked. Something stupid simple.
Any Ideas?
Also, I forgot to mention that I have one of R&D's cams installed. It's clocked correctly.
