New Addition!

Folks,

Just wanted to post here for fellow IDIers to see.

My wife and I announce the birth of our first child:

Daniel Ellsworth Lewis, 8lb 12 oz, 22.5" long.

Mom and baby are healthy... hope to see him driving my IDI in about another 16 years.

Congrats Dad!

Tell Mom were all thinking of her and the little one. So is Daniel going to ride home in the truck? Both of our kids rode home in The Enterprise even when we had newer vehicles in both cases at home.

I still remember the night my first was born. It's a fantastic feeling, isn't it? Enjoy it while it lasts. It goes down hill from there.

Ours both came home in the IDI as well, actually had a special license plate both times for the back, reading "Its a Girl" , then "Its a Boy".
Lots of horn tootin on those trips.

Thanks for everything guys!! Mom and baby are doing well... Unfortunately I'm going to have to pick them up in the Impala (flamesuit ON) because mommy had a c-section and the truck will be uncomfortable for her unless I hook up the horse trailer and smooth things out (HAHAHAHA). Besides, there's nowhere for a big truck at the hospital (don'tcha hate cities with large populations and small parking lots?!?!)

BUT his first ride in a pickup truck WILL be in the IDI... rest assured. I've already told Beth.
