Just got back from town this morning and the old truck just turned over 48,000 miles, I know these trucks have a lot of miles, It would be kinda different to see/hear about low millage trucks.
short storry, My dad passed this truck along to me when I took possetion of it at 37000 it had a little mold growing on the roof, replaced all fluids, brakes tires, Had nice michelin's with the little **** still on them but the side walls rotten & cracked , and a lot of other TLC.
Just wonderin if there are other low milage IDI's out there,
94 IDI turbo, E4OD , 4:10 club cab 2wd with a roll-along-package.

if you consider that my 1991 is 16 years old and has 158K on it that equates to less than 10K a year. 9875 to be exact.

I recently picked up a 92 cab & chassie with 72,000 km (45,000 miles). I used the transmission for my truck and I'm in the process of transplanting the rest of it onto a 93 F-250 4x4 chassie.

I only have 48000 on my 1991 but she has lived a hard life. Spent all her childhood years in front of a backhoe trailer.

My truck only has 114,000 miles, and since its 22 years old, thats only 5181.8 miles a year, or only 14.19 mles a day ;Sweet . And I know for a fact that its pretty much all freeway miles on it.

My truck has 65,000 on it, my aunt picked it up in Nashville with 5 miles and it had a easy life towing horses around Nashville, my father bought it 3 years ago, and just recently I got it and drove it from Chicago to North Carolina.

just bought mine w/ 156K and passed up another w/ 62K on it. apparently rust doesn't care about miles because I could see through the bed and quarters on the 62K truck

i still think that 500000 is low this is what the old 85 has on her and the 90 300000 so as long as i get anothe half million then this is low

What is low mileage?:dunno My '86 only has 236k on it. That's only like 11k a year. My '85 has approx 500k. with something like 95% of that pulling trailers. Horses and bulls, then 3 car wedge and now mostly 5th wheels. That's only like 22K a year. Nevermind I guess my trucks have some mileage on them.

Mine sat for over 10 yrs in a dispute between a towing company and an insurance company - odd. I came along in 1999, it had 12,500km (approx 7,500miles!). It has hauled us from southern Ontario to Florida 5 times, Mexico once, and last summer to Alaska- and back. It leaves Jan 08 for Cal. and Baha. It now has 113,000km, so I put on 100,000km (62,000miles) and I haven't had to walk yet. It is sleepy and I watch PS and Cummins blast by on the hills but I get there. I've spent so much on this thing it's not a truck but a 'tar baby' , I can't put it down.

42K on my 1986 F250, 6.9L. Every pro who's looked at her agrees it's the original mileage. I just dropped her off at the shop for new brakes, bearings, shocks, and a thorough checkup. I put new boots (Firestone Transforce HT's, 235/85RR16, E rated) on her last week.
