It has a brand new "cooler" (barrel) and new orings installed.
Going to have to figure out how to pressure test it before we trust it, but that barrel alone is worth darn near $600.

are you serious - an oil cooler costs $600?
i recently bought a fully rebuilt 7.3, rebuilt from top to bottom complete for $700 with 20K on it and the oil cooler looks brand new. Being that a Reviva remanned engine is about 5K i find it hard to believe the oil cooler is worth $600 - but if you say so...

It is real expensive from the stealership.Seeem like in the mid 90s a guy was told by a stealership he needed a new one-he paid $500 for it.Then a local shop fixed the real leak,After he sold his truck I saw it at a garage sale for $200or so -figured I,d wait till the evening and get it cheap-WRONG!!!!! it was gone.

Well I wasnt mis typing anything. I've priced new barrel's at IH and they wanted $450 last year for one, but this year it went up to $595. My brother had quite a few more hundred on it, so hopefully that makes you feel better.
He wasnt going to let it go.
If you guys know of anywhere I can get a new barrel from for $200 then let me know as I need one for my truck as well.
