Well I'm working on wiring in my new gauge pod and I'm having a dilema as to where to pull power. I do not like using quick taps at all. I was thinking of wiring in a 30amp relay and using it off a keyed on to power a separate accessory fuse block, that way I can easily fuse the gauges with less clutter. Am I overthinking this? I just hate making under dash wiring look trashy, plus its hard to trace, oh and I am writing up wiring diagrams when I'm done.

If it does not work then go to the autometer website and click on tech info, then installation info, then install articles, then scroll down to the bottom of the first page. it will be the very last article on page 1. it says 1999-2007 a-pillar gauge install. it shows how they tapped in for power and lighting of the gauges.
