well i was doing some work on the truck today and i had to remove the pass side wheel well. that leads me to find the the front radiator core support is really rusted. so i go over and look at the drives side and its completely rusted out where it attached to the body mount-cuss . How hard is it to replace ? i found one from lmc truck for about $200. It surprises me though cause there is no rust on the rest of the truck that is the only spot:dunno

IDK about the whole changeover, but be careful w/ the radiator, they aren't cheap (I think $450+) I also found that a 2x4 painters scaffold made removing the rad a whole lot easier because it is hard to lift out from the ground.

It only took me about an hour to pull my rad, grill, and trans cooler in my drive, I wouldn't think the support would be too much worse.

I was on Rock Auto today and just happened to look at the core support. They wanted $155 for it. And as JPR said the batteries got it.

I got to the "it never ends" on Friday when the car decided it does not want to start while I was still working on the truck.

Over the weekend I tried to convince the wife that I really "need" a 2008 F450 4x4 crewcab. She didn't bite, so I showed her how much the F550 was and that we would be saving 10k with the F450, still no go. Something about not having $54,000 laying around.
