Ok guys what are your thoughts on the dual mass vs the single mass flywheel?!

SMF all the way. Plain and simple. I like the LuK; cheap enough and still widely available/supported; fairly light pedal feel.

I agree with @Macrobb whole heartedly. Dmf have issues and more moving parts and that typically equals more failure points. Just my opinion

I'm not the biggest Luk fan, but sometimes that's all there is at the affordable end of the market.

I just finished mine up this weekend. I almost put my foot through the firewall the first time I pressed the pedal after the swap. Made my clutch feel like a 90s honda civic clutch, it's so light.

This is the one I did. You might want to check/replace the rear main crank seal while you are in there. I got the one with a sleeve from Autozone.

Excellent idea but I’d use the motorcraft version.

Or
E5TZ-6701-D Should also have the sleeve but is the older number for the 6.9 and 7.3

Ya I figured I would go ahead and change out the rear main. I ordered the LUK kit this afternoon. I just really hope it holds up tell the new stuff gets here...
