I recall someone posting the CFM requirement for an intercooler for our IDIs, I did a search, but couldn't find it. Anyone know off the top of their head what is the minimum CFM requirement for a 6.9?

I think it is 900 CFM, but I might be mistaken. I have a second gen Dodge/Cummins I/C that I'm going to put in mine one day. I don't know what the specs. for it is, but I figure its up to the task.

Can anyone confirm this? I am wanting to intercool my dads truck, but want to find an cooler that will fit in the tight confines of a slant nose truck. I also don't want to buy a kit as I'm a do it yourselfer. Every now and then I find myself looking for something and find a site full of intercoolers and would like to arm myself with a touch of info in case I find a nicely sized unit.

900cfm would be enough for dyoung14, most everybody else 600 is more than enough.
