No amount of RTV will stop the leak if its coming from the high pressure side of the injectors... Try this. Remove the buggered injectors and change the bottom sections with the top body of the injectors you pulled out. I really dought the injector bodys are differant from G to any other code. Now the spring and internals are differant between injector codes. When you try to replace those lines please remove the line dampners BEFROE you try to tighten them to the injectors. They should turn by hand all the way down. Don't give up so easy. We will get you running correctly. I have cross threaded injector lines before yoo. Its no fun I know.... Funny how I can machine almost anything but try to thread something as simple as an injector line....:dunno

I dont think its from the high pressure side, that to me would mean the fuel would squirt out, the fuel is just kinds dribbling out here....but I hear you. I just dont have the time, I know I keep saying that but judging by how long it took me to pull the old ones and put in the new ones, it would take a couple hours, and I gotta leave early tommorow....I just need something that will get me from point A to B for a week or two, without having to do hardly anything (isnt that what everything boils down to in an Idealistic world LOL).

I dont wanna mess with pulling injectors apart, if there were diagrams maybe but that is something I dont wanna mess up.

Nope its not fun but I will look on the bright side....I'll get to do this all again in the near future :rotflmao hopefully this time I will take more precautions and not have this happen again.

No I didnt even think about O rings until after the fact.....they looked good anyways, I think he said he replaced them (blk99) before shipping them. I could have cut them, I'm not sure.

Wouldn't you like to know
Yes fuel will seap through silicone sooner or later, best to just pull off the caps & check. I got a nice return line kit from Oregon Fuel Injection that had line, clamps, O rings, & new cups as well.

I replaced everything but the copper washers & no more leaks! :D

This is what part of the kit looked like. (the 16th O ring is hiding in one of the caps)

Yeah, I replaced all of that stuff. My problem is that the lines are cross threaded, and so are the injectors, so the lines arent all the way down, so its leaking fuel there. I just need it to last for until next Sunday hopefully.

I bet your lines are ok Justin. If you need new ones though I have a few I'll be glad to let go for little or nothing. Just pick up the shipping and I'd be glad to help you out. I suggest the line is ok, because it is a much harder metal than the stuff in the injector. The injector body is a hard plastic or soft metal. As soon as you see shiny on the injector you're done and that ****** will never seal right. At least usually. Also those Orings you should have replaced them. Lube or not they are a 1 time use item. I'll probably get jumped for saying this but a chemical rated oring at the Hardware store will get you by for a few months, but to do it right you need at least all new orings for a diesel fuel injection application. These guys have orings for this application by themselves in bulk, OFI may as well. http://www.dieselspecialists.net/nonpowerstroke.html
